Sourcing Office assembled a group of 17 entities representing higher education, municipalities, special districts, and not-for-profits to provide input into the creation of our office supply program. Additionally, Sourcing Office retained a subject matter expert with senior management experience in the office supply industry to lead the development of our best-in-class office supply program.

CORE OFFICE SUPPLY LIST.
The core list was developed by merging the most commonly purchased items of the 17 committee members, the top 300 items most frequently sold by OfficeMax nationwide, and any sustainable alternatives. The final list includes approximately 525 items. The Sourcing Office contract provides defined pricing for each item on this list. Additionally, each Sourcing Office participant may customize the core list by adding up to 25 items it frequently purchases that are not already on the core list.

CATALOG DISCOUNTS.
Participants receive significant price discounts off of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for every item in the OfficeMax catalog that is not included on the core list.

PRIVATE LABEL DISCOUNTS.
Participants receive even greater discounts for OfficeMax-labeled merchandise such as legal pads, sticky notes, etc.

RETAIL CONNECT.
Not only is Sourcing Office contract pricing available for all orders placed by phone and through the OfficeMax website, but this contract pricing is also available at all OfficeMax retail locations through the OfficeMax Retail Connect program. These in-store purchases are charged directly to your organization’s master account.

EMPLOYEE DISCOUNTS.
Participants’ employees receive OfficeMax employee discount cards, which they can use for all of their personal office supply purchases.

VOLUME REBATES.
Sourcing Office negotiated several levels of rebates which will be paid pro-rata to participants based on the combined spending of all participants purchasing through this contract. In other words, the more entities that purchase through this contract, the lower the pricing is for everyone.
